Un-freakin'-believable. Every guy who did nothing in the first half contributed big things in the second. Don't know what was said or done at half, but keep doing it!

Well the entire comeback isn't totally on him. That was the best defensive rotation I have seen from this team in two years. Its like they finally learned how to play.
But wait... I thought this was the same team as last year and not a single player has improved a bit? One half does not a season make.

Good thing we changed the system at halftime. We should just go ahead and hire Dan Shulman as our coach right now.
I can't decide if that was the greatest individual performance of the last 20 years or not. Maybe. Freeman is a rock.
Suck it, UConn!!!!

Freeman, Greg and Chris are the best threesome in the conference.
The defense in the second half was 50 percent simple. We decided to get back on defense.
Once we did that, UConn became a very ordinary team.

it'll be tough to say his performance was better than some of Jeff's in '07 but definitely is up there. The only post i saw that was accurate at halftime was daytona about greg's post game. other than that.....negative posters can eat crow.

Jeff's 30 against Notre Dame in the 2007 BET was v. v. special because, like Freeman, he worked for his buckets. Austin was hitting jumpers, 3s, PUTBACK lay-ins, floaters, you name it...this wasn't Chris' 34 (20 or so on fast break layins). I'd argue that was the best individual performance in the JTIII era and certainly the best half by one player. Only one thing changed for Austin today -- his CONFIDENCE. He plays with that swagger for the rest of the year (and doesn't get burned out) and we are going places. Wow - what a comeback. unbelievable.

Two completely different halves. Effort went from 10% to 110%. Amazing. Kudos to the whole team and JTIII.

Austin came within one point of the GU record for half scoring of 29 held by Frank Hollandoaner vs NYU.
Great rebound by the team. A tale of two halves. At halftime I thought we could have been loose and make a comeback. In the first half I saw signs of the Hoyas almost giving up, so I expecting a tongue lashing by JTIII at half and they would come out energized, which is what happened. Great, great comeback, especially by AF, but good effort by all the team. JV came up big a few times.

When was the last time we came back from 19 down? I remember being down 20 to DePaul in the 80s at the Cap Center and winning. Have we done it since?

Anyone else notice that the score is exactly the same as the 2008 game (Roy Hibbert for 3 with seconds to go game)? I played that clip about 10 times today. Must have worked

The difference was stopping the ball vs. Husky transition and RUNNING the offense with Greg getting touches at the key. I finally heard something from Vitale I actually agreed with - the O-set with Greg on the wing is NOT EFFECTIVE ... makes it like the Hoyas are playin' 4 against 5. The SMARTS and the EFFORT showed up in the 2nd half - OUTRAGEOUSLY GREAT WIN!

This was shades of the 84 semis against Kentucky. Great pay back for the Ray Allen game in the 96 BET, too. Austin enters the pantheon of legendary Hoyas...
