If you ever have a case related conflict with an important Hoya game, there is now a precedent for using that as a basis for a motion to continue: abovethelaw.com/2009/12/best_motion_for_continuance_ev.phpObviously try this with caution in states that are not mostly financed by SEC football.

Having spent a month on trial in Montgomery this year, that sounds about right.

This is one of the most powerful examples of legal research and writing I have ever read.
Motion granted.
This case is continued as a matter of public safety, keeping in mind particularly the court work force pedestrians, until the defense is able to aver that it's blood alcohol level is below those limits prosribed by state law for the purpose of operating of a tractor.

Having spent a month on trial in Montgomery this year, that sounds about right. Did you beat the rap? (I assume you mean "in trial," right?) Haven't seen any such motions filed in my local jurisdiction yet, but this thread does remind me of one of the best court orders of all time: assets.sbnation.com/assets/8865/Waggoner_v__Walmart__2_.pdf

Having spent a month on trial in Montgomery this year, that sounds about right. Did you beat the rap? (I assume you mean "in trial," right?) That's just how closely I align myself with my client's interests. And justice prevailed (in the form of a hung jury and a subsequent favorable ruling by the AL Supreme Court for a similarly situated defendant).
