I was playing, fellas. Tongue in cheek post. Obviously JTIII is an awesome recruiter and losing Moses signifies no weakness whatsoever.
Anyone remember Derrick Payne??? He was a late 90's/early 2000s Hoya talk board recruiting legend. We followed this kid for months and he never landed in a Hoya uni.
Recruiting is a crazy business.
With his recent entry onto U.S. soil, I would guess there is a tangible chance that there is some issue with Moses' transcript next fall.

Has an African guy ever showed up in the US and made an impact his freshman year? None that I can think of, at Georgetown or anywhere else. Not even Dikembe at 7'3". Boubacar Aw had a nice freshman year maybe, but he was actually a skill player I thought and not too raw. Boumtje-Boumtje (and Ya Ya?) had a much better resume than Moses at this point if memory serves. So I'm not going to get too excited either way.

Given his limited High School experience, it's pretty likely that he'll take some time to really be an effective player at the high-major level. With that said, with good coaching and his athletic tools, he could be dynamite for us down the road, and that is probably worth getting excited over.

Loul Deng but he came via England/Sudan. Mac Koshwal at DePaul made all Big east rookie and has been a really good player for the Blue Demons. And of course the Prince Mhab a Moute for UCLA. Then again, that's only 3 and both Luol and Mac came in highly acclaimed so basically i supported your point DHall.

I'm kind of in the camp that it is unrealistic to expect him to contribute his freshman year. I think the tools are definitely there for him to be an impact defender and rebounder, and I'm sure he will be in time. But, even if we're gushing over his weakside defense, his timing, and his athleticism, it'll take time for him to learn how to be a good defender on this level. Henry has all of those attributes too, but he still struggles at times with rotations (although I think he's improving). I frankly think Henry has a much better chance at being an impact defender/rebounder next year than Moses does. But it's more fun to hypothesize about new toys so I get the 22 pages.

Check the Hoosier boards, I'm working them Apparently DC is a "Congested, political crime-infested city" where Abraham would be drawn and quartered within 30 minutes of stepping on campus. Jeez.

Whereas Bloomington is the sort of place that might actually consider a non-visit to be a good thing, recruiting - wise.

Why don't they say we're undecided and when they DO decide, they announce? This is ridiculous
