This is very exciting, if we get Moses. Do we have the schollies for Johnson? Moses is '10. Johnson is '11. Even with Moses, we have four scholarships likely to open up for '11: Monroe, Vaughn, Wright and Freeman. We have Goodman committed -- who may be '11 or '12 -- but other than that, there's plenty of room.

This bizarro announcement is Pops-like. Maybe they will have a Pops press conference (without the press).

I like the fact that IU seems to be hanging on this guys commit, but he would just be a very very nice cherry on top of a solid, though small, class for Gtown

I know we heard midnight... which day? Just thinking about what this team could be next year, returning everyone but going 10-deep... added shotblocking presence... wow, hard to imagine he'd choose IU.

Thanks SFHoya 99
I would like to see Greg stay next year, I think he is awesome but needs to devlop his mid-range jumper. Staying a year will make him the #1 overall pick. If he comes out this year, he is most likely the 3rd or 4th pick behind Wall,Johnson, and the kid from Ohio St

Seeing as no one has any clue what is going on - or seems to be on the call - I am going to bed and will hopefully have good news in the morning.

I may go to bed also... but to everyone who may wait up a bit longer, twitter is definitely the best way to go... it's really quite adept at breaking news. You can do a simple search for Moses Abraham on twitter (and refresh whenever) by typing his name in or simply by clicking twitter.com/#search?q=moses%20abraham (I'm not totally positive the link will work without an account, but I'm fairly sure it does).

CNN just said Abraham is going to Florida.
Not really. Nobody is saying anything. Good night!

Maybe he hasn't done the daylight savings time switchover.

Maybe he hasn't done the daylight savings time switchover. That might not actually be that farfetched

If anybody is actually sitting and refreshing the screen and waiting to hear on this, you're crazy (no offense). This recruitment has been all over the map, the handler is saying all sorts of different things, has him leaning toward somebody new a few different times, has changed the date of the announcement a few different times etc. I mean they set "the announcement" for midnight! Talk about silly. This isn't like he's having a press conference or anything here, whenever he decides to make it official he'll probably call the staff he decides on, and then maybe let some of the local reporters know.
I'd say that I'm as interested in Georgetown recruiting as anybody, but this is very much a "wake me up when he figures it out" type of situation. Not a "feverishly refresh the page so we can get official word" type of situation, like we did with, say, Austin Freeman, who had a press conference at his school. Wouldn't be at all surprised if there is no word on the net until tomorrow or later.
200+ people on the recruiting forum right now! You have all taken Joe Boncore's bait, ha!
