I think this was talked about here at some point a while back. Not sure if on the Basketball page or another page.
But did anyone see it during the Washington game? They showed Washington's commercial, then I was excited to see this commercial in action, but didn't see it. Did I miss it or what?

I'd heard about it before but hadn't actually seen it until today when one of the Development people sent me the link. Did not see it during the Washington game but I could have missed it.
EDIT: PAC-10 games on FoxSports apparently do not show opposing teams' ads and they owned the broadcast rights to the game.

I like it, its a great vid showing many aspects of the Georgetown life. Would rather see a different pic of the Jesuits though, idk that one just hits me weird. Would like to see some Jesuits drinking  |

I like it, but the video goes by too quick. I'd cut the scenes down by a third. I think it will resonate with those of us who know Riggs/Tombs/Dahlgren better than it will with prospective students/families. If every cut were the length of Healy and the G, it'd be better.
Still, a huge improvement.

great ad i did see this lots of energy we are georgtown great cant believe they dont show the opposing teams video pretty poor but heck WE BEAT THEM BAD go hoyas nice promo very energetic nice BEAT ODU ONSAT ;D

Great ad, this is what I was looking for during the Washington game (which has since been explained). I always thought the old ones went too heavy on the "Faith, Scholarship, Service" theme for a sporting event.

I'm a fan of the new commercial as well. I wasn't sure what I thought when I first saw it a month or two ago because it did seem like the clips went by a little too quickly, but I agree that it's a vast improvement over the old commercial. Also, they actually included Georgetown Basketball, one of our best recruiting tools.

I like how it starts slow and gets big and fast. Kinda like JTIII's Hoyas.

The concept of the commercial is good, but the execution is bad. This must have been made by the Bourne crew, with so many quick cuts and weird angles that it is difficult to see what is going on. I count more than 40 cuts, which is way too many for a 30sec spot. Dissapointing.

Kinda agree with emkmd. It's way better than the ballerina, tea, and crumpets commercial but it's way too frenetic and choppy to get any sense of what the campus is like.
