I'm really excited that we've finally joined the 21st century and can access our season tickets online for printing, forwarding, etc. I can't tell you how many annoying trips across town I've had to make to pick up or drop off tickets from the group I sit with.

It's a welcome improvement which I've enjoyed for other teams. Makes life a lot easier.

i didnt know this had happened but very good for gtown. they also replaced the maps on campus that said the baseball field was still there. maybe they looked at a calender and saw it wasn't 1995!

They finally replaced the maps? I'm going to have to check this out! Man, you are missing out! Not only did they replace the maps, they changed the whole sign. The Map is not like a piece of the plastic not just paper, and is in full real life color! Its like being at the Smithsonian or something (just a lot less sweet stuff to look at)

I haven't gotten any communication from Georgetown that mentions it. The instructions came with the invoice for the remaining balance of the season ticket cost. I just got mine this week so you should get it soon. Season ticket balance is due October 16th.

Wow -- this was one of my pet peeves while I was working at GU, and always caught up in the fact that nobody was clear on who had ownership of the signs... facilities, communications, architect, etc.

My favorite part of the on-line Account Manager? The $3 "INET Invoice Payment Fee" they charge for the convenience of paying your balance on-line (which is on top of the $15 "Processing and Handling" fee). And here I thought I was going to save on the price of a stamp. Oh, this all makes sense, Ticketmaster runs this ticketing site. Maybe I will fax my invoice in.

I have always hated overinflated "shipping" or "handling" charges. I mean, a ticket booklet could be sent 2 or 3 day priority mail for $2.90 and for another buck, you can have signature received return. Now if ticketmaster is charging $3 for their service, then that's ok. They have to make something. But general "handling" charges when what they are handling is their friggin' product and my friggin' money is bogus. It's just a hidden cost/revenue of the product. Maybe it makes them feel better by convincing themselves that they aren't charging as much as they really are. On a related note, I can't stand surcharges for paying certain ways. Several times I have ended up at the deadline on a payment for something. Maybe it's too late to get to the utilities office or maybe it's a weekend and the banks aren't open, but my credit card statement is due. You call them, and they say you can do a check by phone to avoid the $15 fee but then after jumping through hoops to have the account set up that way, you find out that there is a $5.95 charge for doing it. Our regional utilities has a 3% fee for all credit card transactions. Now I know the credit card processing companies charge a "discount" but I still get irritated when it costs me more even if it's just a few bucks.
