I could take the high road, and point out that your juvenile attempts at prodding me into an emotional response will not work.
Or I could "fire back" that there's no connection to Florida whatsoever, and that that was the very point I have been trying to get you narrow-minded ... or at least singularly-focused stone-throwers to understand from the beginning.
Oh, what the hell ... why not both!
FISH ON!!!!!
In all seriousness, I have been quite consistent all along. I have shown my appreciation for virtually any and all positive/heart-warming stories, regardless of University affiliation. Though such pronouncements have usually fallen on deaf ears, I do continue to stand by that view. With that being said, I truly do appreciate reading all the "good stuff" that today's athletes/student-athletes do. We all know there are plenty of "bad stuff" on a daily basis.
Enough on this angle though, I really do enjoy reading stories such as this and I trust that at least most of you do, regardless of who first posts them.
(Go Gators! Is that enough of a Florida connection?)

See, I purposely don't read them because you posted them. And I'm sure others do the same. So your attempts are falling on deaf ears and blind eyes.

Oh, what the hell ... why not both! FISH ON!!!!! In all seriousness, I have been quite consistent all along. I have shown my appreciation for virtually any and all positive/heart-warming stories, regardless of University affiliation, EXCEPT THAT I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT 99% OF THOSE STORIES RELATE TO MY BELOVED GATORS. Though such pronouncements have usually fallen on deaf ears, I do continue to stand by that view. With that being said, I truly do appreciate reading all the "good stuff" that today's athletes/student-athletes do. We all know there are plenty of "bad stuff" on a daily basis. Is that enough of a Florida connection?) Fixed it.
