Good to see Mrs. Clinton stand up for herself against that horrible little student. She put him right in his place. She is all class and we should be proud to have her representing our interests in the world at large.

It was a translation error and the two shook hands and talked personally after they realized that. But I guess you don't need to whole story to make up your mind ...

I was sincerely congratulating her. It is time American leaders stopped taking crap from foreigners, even on their soil. Good for Hillary. I was especially happy to see her go off half cocked before she had the whole story. My kind of gal.

Well, she is the Secretary of State, not her husband. And in a country where women are raped repeatedly as a matter of course, it's probably important to show herself as an independent, assertive woman.
I'm sorry, Elvado, are you in favor or foreigners disrespecting members of our government?

Bringing things back to the board.... www.usatoday.com/news/world/2009-08-10-clinton_N.htmThe full text of the question was ... '"Thank you. Mrs. Clinton, we ve all heard about the Chinese contracts in this country. The interference is from the World Bank against this contract. What does Mr. Clinton think through the mouth of Mrs. Clinton and what does Mr. Mutombo think on this situation? Thank you very much."" Who is Mr. Mutombo? He's not *our* Mr. Mutombo, is he?

I don't understand why she didn't slam Dikembe either - Dikembe Mutumbo isn't the Secretary of State.
