Again, I just can't shake the feeling that Hoyatalk is one big psych expirement by Lic. Yes, lic specializes in adolescents and there are many of those on this board.

NOT SURE WHAT A TWEET OR TWITTER IS EXCEPT A BIRD FOR REAL in hopes that we'll get some good info from lic's tweets, i'll explain: twittering is basically mini-blogging, but using your cell phone for input instead of your keyboard. it's basically the marriage blogging and texting. when you send a "twitter blog post/text msg" it's called a tweet. somebody smarter than me who actually uses twitter, care to explain how lic can twitter to his or someone else's blog?

KG has the first scoop of the KL - Vee and Jerelle were late. And the second scoop - already a schedule change in the 2009 KL.

I'm curious whether Julian and Nikita are playing and, if so, for whom. Anybody know?

To paraphrase Leonardo DiCaprio, TIK. This Is Kenner. Game starts way late. No one knows who is who except for Freeman and Crawford. Frosh show up 2/3 of the way through first half. Only consolation is that Kenner dogs not available to about the half. Line forms. I guess this is why healthcare reform has some modest level of legitimacy in certain quarters.
Freeman has a lot more definition and, based on his cuts to the the hoop, somewhat quicker. Realize we are talking summer league competition but his moves inside were great. Showed a handle. He dominated whoever we were playing. Best player on the court, easily.
Crawford; an enigma. His game is better than when he was with us. Showed a consistent outside shot. Still the muscle inside. Still plays bigger than he is. Loved the effort.
Everyone wondering about Vee and Bennimon. They sauntered late in the first half. Vee came in with about 5 minutes left and showed a lot of quickness. Deceptive. He is all of a sudden running past people but it doesn't look like it. Handles the ball well. Has a real outside shot. Misses were off slightly right. Quickness on defense. All of a sudden I feel like we have 4 guards; Freeman, if he can get a bit more weight loss or even more muscle, will be a dominating Big East guard.
Bennimon is big. Thick. Something we have lacked. Someone told him to take it slow. He played within himself but showed muscle and was willing to bang inside. Was getting schooled low for the initial possessions by a heavier player but caught onto to the game as it wore on. This guy can give us 5-6 minutes easily. Wonder if he is 6'8" but clearly over 240. Had no goal of scoring unless it presented itself but showed a willingness to work hard. Really interested to see how he progresses.
Chris Wright walking around the sidelines. The guy is huge. Monroe and Clark looked the same. JT goes to his chair with a smattering of applause after III gets his rolling luggage against the opposing bleachers and exits quickly.

What had to be said Ambassador?! Just about every year, there is some gun jumping on KL day one updates. They will come out in due course. There are some tweet type things out there on various message boards now.

No one on this board should have to apologize for being excited about seeing Hoyas back on the court, even if it's just summer league. If it spawns a little excess hype, well, that's what sports fans do. Bring it on.

I agree Mapei, but Im tryna be non-confrontational in this maturing process. Thus, if me being a bit trigger happy and wanting updates makes cats uneasy then Ill chill. Besides, Im a new posted and Ambassador got like 3 gold stars!
Kidding, but real talk im excited about seeing them live next week!

well here is my report, watched all 3 games
Views: Hollis THompson is playing for Screamy McScremerson Hollis STUD!!!!!!! He would have put up 30 if he wasnt playing with Bowie and Follairn campbell and #3 for his team who had no interest in passing the ball Hollis opened the game with an alley-oop dunk 1st possession dunked on some poor Morgan St guy, had another alley-oop in transition in the 2nd half. Hit both his 3's, had probably 16 pts, but took maybe 9 shots. JASON CLARK..wow....he looks tremendous. played within himself and as a team player against the madness allstars who beat clydes with 5 people. basically Eddie Badsen is too big for that team. Henry struggled guarding madness inside guy(Calvin Brown)had no left but all brute strength, almost ogt into a scuffle in the 2nd half between Henry and Calvin Brown. Henry tried using his post moves but the guys strength stiffled them all. The thing is Henry looks stronger. its 1 game I wont take it as anytihng more than that till I can form a better opinion. Vee very very deceptively quick, can get to the basket at will. Hit 1 of his trademark floaters, arrived late to the game and showed it with no warm-up in the 1st half. scored like 13 in the 2nd half tho. Jerrelle(definitely only 6'7) only played the 2nd half had like 4 pts on lay-ups, can handle the rock very well. Very very thick dude, he is going to have Alonzo-esque arms if he stays in the gym lifting. he is very very thick not fat. just brute strong. Has very little lift tho not a higher riser, though he did goaltend a shot impreesively in the 2nd half. Austin was impressive and he is in shape and looked like he must read this message board cause he was trying to dunk anything he could. had a impressive attempt on a follow in the 1st half were he came over 2 people and almost completed it. scored at will in the mid range, got the basket very well. HOLLIS!!! wow, this kid has to start. ridic handle very bouncy, pre-game was a display, he hit like 5 3's in the warm-up lines very pure looking shot too.,..... and his head is literally at the rim when he was dunking, he has got to be near 6'9 now.
Snap judgements Clark will play ALOT this year. He needs to. He looks like he definitely put work into his arms.his handle was tighter today. made great passes all day. Jerrelle will not probably play much this year but will be helpful in the long run. He handles the rock very well for such a big man and looks like he can take bigger men off the dribble very easily once squared up and facing. Vee will help this year as a 4th guard. But long term is where i wanna see. The kid definitely can shoot and is laser quick. just needs to get stronger in the upper body. I like the signing even more after seeing him play. Austin will be all-big east Hollis might only be here for 2 years Sims needs to be more assertive....he let that older guy with no ups punk him down low all game Monroe and Wright stayed for all the games and cheered on their teammates these guys obviously get along. When Hollis had that opening dunk they all erupted. Dougherty can shoot when he is wide open in the warm-ups has a weird hitch in his shot Bennimon will be a huge by jr and sr yr muscle wise.

KG has the first scoop of the KL - Vee and Jerelle were late. And the second scoop - already a schedule change in the 2009 KL. They showed up in shirts and ties. Vee got into the game first because Jerelle seemed to be getting his ankles taped or something.
