Wright Thompson truly is an excellent writer. Early in his career, he wrote for the New Orleans paper, and I remember being impressed with his style. IMO, not only is the article interesting and informative, but also entertaining. As I was reading, I noted that I liked the writing, checked the author, and was not surprised it was Thompson.
