If you knew what BJ meyers/Duke were up to then you would understand why he dropped Thornton so drastically. Duke is trying to get Brandon Knight or Kyrie Irving as another PG in 2010. So they need to make it look like Thornton is not a threat and is just a 4 year depth guy. Thornton is not a great player, but he is not as bad as people are making him out to be now. Ironically what has really hurt Thornton and Josh Hairston is that Assault-ese coddled/hid them in the 16u division last year instead of had them play up against the better competition like the other aau programs do(Boo/TeamTO/Celtics/Gauchos). So now that Thornton and Hairston are playing against the elite players around the country instead of the average players, they are now being exposed. Now they are still good players, and should be good college players. But it is funny how things turn out. We still won't know until all of these guys get to college. Interesting, thanks for the info RDF. Oh the games people play with recruiting.

guys on the board give me better insight than rivals. They are too biased and try to make everyone happy except Gtown fans.
