Per Telep, lists Georgetown along with UNC, Florida, Syracuse, UCLA and Old Dominion. Telep's review of Spiece compared him to Tim Duncan.

interesting comparison. he is smooth and has great hands so i guess that is where comparison comes in. really good looking player who is likely headed to UNC.

does he not have a family connection, all but wrapping him up for the heels? i know he has been there for a visit or 2. he and gbinjie are their top 2 in 2011. and it wouldn t surprise me if they look at cook hard too. especially if they continue to lose interest in kendall.

He's a nephew (?) of Bob McAdoo, Basketball Hall of Famer and former Tar Heel, yes.
I don't know if that wraps him up, but UNC fans seem to think so. Quite a few legacies intentionally go elsewhere.

Cook told me he is going on an unofficial to UNC soon and he expects them to offer on his trip. He said thats where he wants to go.

Did anybody let Kendall Marshall's dad know that UNC is going to offer Cook. Kendall's daddy might give Cook the Tonya Harding special.

lol. Is Kendals dad that bad? i thought he was not all that good. Definately D1 but not UNC. Could turn into Quintin Thomas. I felt he was the worst of the local 2010 guards. Thats still not a bad honor though.

Carolina appears to be waiting until he is done with his sophomore year and offering, keeping to the NABC request. All signs point to McAdoo accepting that offer.
There other main target is PJ Hairston from NC, which may be a good thing for the Hoyas chance to land Gbinije.
In terms of Marshall, UNC is not backing off at all, the kind is a top 50 player and a very good point guard. There is no reason not to go after a pg in every class, every high major team should do it. I do not believe Cook will get an offer when he visits.

In ESPN's review of this past weekend's event, the guy covering it said McAdoo may have been the best prospect in attendance, period.
