A huge problem is no depth (I know, I'm not breaking any new ground there). But I wouldn't be surprised if many of our second half problems were related to our guys being beaten down because each of the top 5 have to play so many minutes.
This team is very discouraging to watch.

In nearly 40 years of following GU basketball, this is by far the most apathetic team ever. Hoya teams which lacked top talent at least battled.
Forget about coaching -- it is not the coach when: Summers and Freeman drive the baseline against the zone with 10 sec gone on the shot clock with defenders set and step on the baseline; when players fumble clean passes away; commmit soft fouls for "and 1" situations instead of kncking a punk like J. Flynn down and making him earn it at the line; not taking allowing the shot clock to run down without shooting; misssing 2 technical FTs; or when a guard (Clark) takes shots from down low and the baseline and no one rotates back and thus alows break outs by SU with only one man back.
This SU team trly sucks and to be absued by them on national TV is a disgrace. Sorry.

I don't post much, and try to be positive, but this is just painful. This team is young, but not where it should be, given the talent. I'll travel back to see us against Marquette and Louisville, and to the Big East, which will show more heart and loyalty than this team is exhibiting. I respect and like the other posters on this Board, and invite you to rip me if I'm wrong, but I've been at this business of rooting for Georgetown since before some of you great people were born. I've never, ever questioned the character of any Georgetown teams. Today, now, regrettably, I have those questions.

Well the performance is at least a little understandable since we didn't have very long to prepare for this game and you can't blame the players for looking ahead to USF...

They've had a WEEK to prepare for this game. At this point there shouldn't be anymore excuses. The bottom line is this team just isn't very good. There is plenty of talent there but unfortunately the team hasn't gotten better down the stretch like most JTIII teams have.
