mike graham: totally agree, i was a huge sapp fan but i noticed that during one of our timeouts, sapp looked like a spoiled teenager doing everything in his power not to look his parents in the eye...unacceptable
good news is that we are only down one and can definitely win this game and take a huge step back on the road to the tourney
LETS GO!

This team really lacks the defensive foot speed of past JT3 teams. Hibbert would drive me crazy in hedging on a driving guard after a pick on Hoya guard out front because I thought he should be down low, but the switch stopped the guards drive and the Hoya guard who had just been beat slides down and fronts Hibberts man until they can switch back. You can see Vaughn hedges out but does not stop the driving guard before he retreats to his man leavin open driving lane to basket. That defensive scheme(switching on every screen led the nation in defense last year. Hibbert had better foot speed than Vaughn and had more strength in lower body to keep big centers from the basket. both Jackson and O are just waking Greg to the basket for 5 ft shot. Freeman seems to have lost all confidence in his drive penetration. Bad handle weak passes.

I wonder if Elmore's opinion would be different if he'd seen the Ongeneat flagrant on Summers in the previous game.
Positives: -Only down 1 -Half court inside defense -Defensive rebounding has been fairly strong -Early 3 point shooting -Wright has been making better decisions, I think Negatives: -Transition defense -Monroe's silly foul -10 turnovers -Perimeter rotation

Again we get run over in the second because the the other team's coach can actually make adjustments on the fly.

Music...I tried to delete before anyone saw. Our offense is passing around the perimeter then turning it over after about 6 of those and then an attempt to go inside. and we can't stop them down low!

I understand Jessie not starting, but I'm really not sure why Nikita is still in there.

Things that are different today:
1. Nikita starting 2. Austin's undershirt
That's all.

No, it's more coaching. We haven't won a second half in 2009.
