I know they were selling tickets via the Hoya Club, but I did not meet the donation level to obtain the tickets. I wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas about how to obtain tickets.
Some possible ideas, I thought of, are contacting ticket offices of other schools whose teams might not sell out their alloted tickets.
Also, going up to NYC and scalping tickets off of the losing teams fans seems like a good idea as well. I remember when I was at the Final Four when Mason went, the Mason students were selling their tickets for the National Championship game for $100 and the seats were 1-20 rows from the court, behind the basket.
Any other ideas?

Hardest ticket to get is Friday night, Saturday night is one of the easiest.
Honestly, the best thing to do is get tickets to one of the early sessions in the Gtown bracket and ask the fans of the losing games if you can buy off of them. If you are nice and don't ask fans for the teams your team just beat, you can get lucky. They'd prefer to sell to you over the scalper 9 times out of 10. That, and hope one of the big teams lose (Cuse, UCONN, Louisville, Pitt) so their fans tickets flood the market.

You also need to be prepared to buy the whole remaining book as opposed to trying to cherrypick just the next day's ticket. Many people will be relieved to not have to sell to scalpers and will often sell at face, but they don't want to have to sell to both you and a scalper.

The only game I ever buy tix to is the first one I'm attending, just to save some hassle (usually from ebay). After that buying from losing fans is by far the best option.

if you do want to buy the whole book, i think you can get it through South Florida's ticket office with a minimal donation. don't know how good the seats will be, but it's an option if you're okay with buying the whole book.

I wouldn't waste my money on the Big East tournament because at this rate it will be one and done on the first day.

I don't think we're going to make the BET this year, despite the 16-team inclusion...
