ND's women's soccer team went undefeated all year, then lost in the NCAA finals game this afternoon 2-1.

Who played the role of the Giants? Also, were there any saves made where a ball was trapped against the keeper's head?

UNC. However, I wouldn't equate a program that's won, what, 15 of the last 20 championships with the NY Giants.

yeah...you gotta pencil the Tarheels in as a Final Four participant every year.
Anything short of a national title for them is a disappointment.

I didn't see any of the women's games, but I have been watching a lot of the men's tournament and I would just like to note that it is virtually impossible to distinguish the voices of Pam Ward, Mary Carillo......and John Harkes.
Too bad St. John's couldn't advance, but that was a good game and the GWG by the Twerps in the second OT really was a beautiful strike.
