Seems like an excessive sentence. Wonder how it compares to sentences for others convicted of comparable crimes in Nevada.

Was I the only one who thought that this thread was going to involve Brandon Flowers?

Then again, I just watched a Killers concert on TV, so I was already thinking along those lines, and scared that Dan knew something about them canceling their upcoming Patriot Center show.

yes, it is an outstanding album. There's some discussion about it in the "concerts thread on this board. (but I don't mind hijacking this thread since I can't believe anyone really wants to talk about OJ the murdering armed robber.)

His 'accomplice' got the same sentence. They both apparently rejected a shorter plea bargain deal of 3 years.

The first report i read said he got 5-15 years, then it was changed to 9-33. either way i think hell probably get paroled soon after he is eligible (barring any "mistakes" in prison)

OJ's not going to get paroled. Everybody on his parole board will have plenty of knowledge of the possibility of other, previous, and unpunished violent acts. Whether or not that's right is debatable, I happen to think that it's not, but I high doubt he gets paroled after the minimum 9.
