Olaswere is at Springbrook, Roscoe is at Walbrook. Olaswere is supposed to be a late bloomer, don't think he's a guy we'll look too seriously at offering, probably more of a mid major. Maybe III can refer him to Broadus or something ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

GU could use a few kids that "get after it" Once again, I totally agree with you Brotha. You know who got after it? Pat Jr. did! We need some kids with 'tude.

I call it like I see it and I feel regardless of how talented you are you need some heart and fire. If not you wont get better. I am not the only coach that has said this about Roscoe. College coaches I know have said the same thing. I am not bashing the kid but critiquing. I have seen him enough and talked to enough people to make a fair judgment. I said I'll take him but I question his heart. I do that with this year’s team as well but I still wear my Gtown gear. I have a right to an opinion. Just because I say a negative thing about a kid doesn’t mean I am bashing him. As a coach the thing I hate the most is that kids can’t handle criticism and part of that is because people in their inner circle tell them what they want to hear instead of what they need to hear. Again I’ll say it again I question Roscoe’s motor but he is a junior and he can get better. I know he is not a finished product but I want my fellow hoyas fans out there to know what the hype is about. Remember it is just an opinion from a person who has no impact on JT3’s recruiting. Also if you have seen Will Barton play, you’d want him too and I feel he would be a great fit for our team; an athletic wing.

RDF -
You think Smith and Barton are head and shoulders better than other 09/10 recruits in the area? I know they play different positions but there seem to be some very talented PGs in the area in the 10 class as well as Hairston and a few others. What makes you say that Smith and Barton are better?

well recruiting sites tend to agree on Roscoe.....he's a top 10, 5 star recruit....not that that's the end all be all....

Based on potential he is. The folks I talk to think Will is more polished right now. Also, think Roscoe's upside is huge.

ID - i think that is a fair assessment.
Bottom line: i want both to be hoyas and we can figure out who is better when they get here.

Seems like a real long shot to get either of these kids, let alone both. But I do like that JT3 is spending a lot of time on area kids, while also pursuing Vee and Latavious. I guess his family isn't seeing too much of him lately. Grinding on the recruiting trail... maybe it will rub off on the team and they can learn how to Grind on the court.

Talked to a prominent aau coach in bmore and he told me Roscoe is pretty much a done deal to unc. Just workn on grades. Remember that's what I was told not what I know personally. Just inside scoop. The guy I talked to is reliable. Good I didn't want him anyways. I'm getting tired of UNC. They took our title in 82' and now they are getting players from outta our backyard. I beginning to hate UNC more than MD.
