I haven't seen much about this story. I can't believe there's much to it. It sure would seem like it would have been all over the news -- even the mainstream media -- if there was anything to it. But by the same token, I would think it would have been quickly disproven if not. Like I said, I haven't even seen coverage of it in our paper. But our paper is admittedly sh!tty. origin.www.supremecourtus.gov/docket/08-570.htmtherightperspective.com/wordpress/?p=311www.thebulletin.us/site/index...d=576361&rfi=8On Edit: sorry about that last link. I will try to find the full link. Again, I'm not looking to start a firestorm, but this does seem a bit odd to me. One of the comments left at the end of one of the links suggests that he might not want the certificate public since it lists his religion as Islamic. Not only could that reflect on his popularity here, but the person leaving the comment said that conversion from Islam is a capital offense. I think that makes as much sense as anything. I personally don't care about any of it, as long as he was born in America.

Seriously, cut the crap, Hifi. All of the other conservatives on the board have moved on with a modicum of grace, while you keep posting the most ridiculous 9/11 truther-type conspiracy stuff under the guise of being "curious." How about you take your "curiosity" and actually do 5 seconds of additional google-ing before you post another moronic, easily debunked thread from the lunatic fringe?

I'd like to apologize to Strummer for criticizing him in the earlier thread.

I'd like to apologize to Strummer for criticizing him in the earlier thread. Almost seconded. But Strummer's comment was really really bad.

Hifi, the strategy of throwing anything at the wall and praying it sticks is ridiculous. The writ was denied on November 3rd because it was without merit. You have to stop with this nonsense.
If you want to criticize Obama, do so the right way: on policy that doesn't involve a fascist conspiracy. An example follows: "I disagree with a $50 billion bailout for America's auto companies if it comes with no strings attached. The big 3 have rejected innovation in favor of gas guzzlers and 0% financing. Why should America invest $50 billion in a sinkhole?"

I personally don't care about any of it, as long as he was born in America. Please, I'm begging you, leave this board and never come back. Phillip Berg, the plaintiff in the linked case, was last seen suing Bush and Cheney for perpetrating 9/11. You have entered an area of conspiracy theories and extreme aversion to reality.

I consider myself in the penalty box for another four pointless hifi threads. Fortunately, everyone else is taking care of this nicely.

Hey, %#*$# Jack and %$@%$ Obama and #%#% stupid Nancy %#% Pelosi!! Eat me!! Sorry, but no one...NO ONE...ever accuses me of having a modicum of grace! ;D ;D ;D Seriously, hifi, come on now. I also heard that Barack Obama is not actually a man, but merely a vessel for an extraterrestrial cockroach who sings songs about Alec Baldwin.

I have no idea what strummer85 posted earlier today but threads like this make me want to duplicate it or worse. If this isn't trolling, it is very close.
