sports.espn.go.com/ncb/powerranking?season=2009&pollId=1Can a meteor land on Davidson so we don't have to hear about them any more? Please? ON EDIT: I see they list the ballots of the voters. Big Love for GU - Hubert Davis No Love - Jay Bilas, Fran Fraschilla, Doug Gottlieb, Andy Katz

Darn. Bilas and Katz tend to like us, not thrilled about neither putting us on their ballot.

4 of the top 10 are Big East. Could this be the most brutal a conference has ever been?

What kind of world is this where Dickie V rates Georgetown higher than most and Dook lower than most? Have the pod people started their invasion?

Personally? I prefer the lower rankings. Less pressure. Lower expectations. Better motivation for the team. Besides, we have 4 completely new guys in our 8 man rotation and a 5th who missed most of last season. So we have a lot to prove before we can expect to justify moving up in the rankings.
What we -- and the team -- need to focus on is preparation and how we go about competing with our very tough schedule, one game at a time.
