harsh article!!
favorite part: "didnt see eye to eye on my goals and what they had planned for me."
so he decommitted and now lists goal oriented institutions such as South Florida, LSU and Cuse.
We wish you best of luck. The Gtown student body is one that is partial to logic-based decisions. You are right, this isnt a good match.
also find it interesting that he says while gtown offer is still on the table, he's looking elsewhere. Even if true, no need to point that out.

Riley's defense is way ahead of his offensive game and III was honest with him--as he is with all of the recruits. He tells them what he sees/how they'd fit and progress and it's up to the player to decide if that is in his best interest. Look at Henry Sims--whose offensive game is far superior to Riley's at this time--he's taking some time to find his role this year--but by next year will be a major factor--once he learns offense, gets stronger, etc....and let's face it--patience isn't always the best attribute in teenagers--know it wasn't for myself--so good luck to him and think both Riley and Georgetown are better off for him deciding to go in another direction.

He's probably waiting to see what happens with GM and DS re: NBA.

Despite the unfortunate circumstances, I wish this kid luck, provided he doesn't decide to attend Syracuse.
Chris Weber?

Do you think Dashonte might have been watching GU DEMOLISH UConn today?? at THEIR house?!?! Either way, we'll be fine. Given the current chemistry/hunger on this team, we might be better off without him because I am not sure he can match what our starters are bringing right now.

Yeah, I was excited about Riley, but if he is not with the program- meaning he is going to work his tail off, but understands he may or may NOT play immediately, then the Hoyas do not need him. That goes for any recruit, including really elite ones.

I really think we should lock this thread. He's not coming. Period. Why are we still talking about this cat?
