ehh, decent player. Good handles, good passer and pretty good athlete. NOT a good shooter. In fact he would really really really need to improve his shot before I would be serious about him. If a wing canNOT hit open shots in the Gtown offense, that is a major liability. He is a good kid so I will not go Malik Story on him, but I will leave it at this: He was going to have a lot of work to do to ensure that he qualified at zona. So if he wants to be a Hoya it is best for all if he was willing to wait until the spring and showed an improved shot and grades… If he wants to sign during the early period, then he can go to usc or ksu. He is probably a better fit at those programs anyway, and usc and Frank Martin are already recruiting him hard. If Summers bounces in the spring, other wings/combo guards will become available if needed. It happens every spring.

yeah balla thanks for the info. as always it is much appreciated for the many of us who have never seen some of these players. sounds like hill has not directly spoken with anyone from the staff. I am sure the staff would like another ball handler for next years team. Let's see if he visits and how the visit goes.

Yep. This is great for us, given the uncertainty over Summers, and to a lesser extent, Monroe, returning.

Headed to USC. 2009 board getting pretty thin. very thin. if hollis is the only new recruit for 09 its very important for monroe and summers to stay, and/or for sims and vaughn to really develop (along with good guard play). However, things can happen between now and next season.

Hill would have been nice for next year if Summers jumped, but with Clark really impressing, Hollis coming in and Omar showing some ability, losing Hill isn't awful.
Even without him and Summers (assuming he jumps), we have Clark and Wright to play PG and SG, Austin to play SG and SF and Hollis and Omar who can, at minimum, play SF.
That's not including Nikita, either. It's think if someone gets hurt, but not sure Hill would have helped that since the real issue is at G, not SF.
On the other hand, if he could hold his own for a year at PF, that might've been nice.

Why did the Washington Times report that Gtown said that Riley signed is letter when in reality he didn't? Don't get that.

Saw his name out there as he de-committed from USC due to the Floyd situation... Just wondering how interested we were really going after this guy, and if theres any chance we might go after him again
