Raise your hand if you were clamoring for George Pataki to enter the race. Anyone?

I don't think Michelle is grimacing too hard - not with $10M spent on vacations. Just like that 200 million a day trip to India with 34 warships? We're really using the National Enquirer as a legitimate source for information now? 1. I don't read the national enquirer 2. The national enquirer has a decent track record lately on digging up stories 3. You're ok with Michelle and POTUS taking separate jets to the Vineyard so she can get there four hours earlier?

1. I don't read the national enquirer 2. The national enquirer has a decent track record lately on digging up stories How can you know anything about a publication's "track record" when you don't read it? I think what you mean is: "of the handful of stories printed by the National Enquirer that have been picked up by the mainstream press, which I do read, all were factually accurate." So because the mainstream press didn't pick up a story about Liz Taylor's death being faked, ergo the National Enquirer's stories are solid investigative journalism. Countdown to an EasyEd "attack the source" post begins now. (For the record, the costs are disgusting if accurate.)

I'm still not sure. I was distracted by the stories on nationalenquirer.com regarding Kate Middleton's miscarriage, Farrah Fawcett's son dealing drugs, the Pawn Stars kids smoking meth, and a lede that refers to Arnold Schwarzenegger as a "love rat."

I was curious if those were the actual current UK stories, so I went to their website, but couldn't access it in the UK. Apparently, they block access from the UK, so they can't be sued under British libel laws...always a sign of a reputable organization.

To be fair it's about them getting off of meth. The idea that Chumlee was doing meth now and not losing weight was too preposterous and something that I had to Google.

At least he hasn't shot anyone. .....yet. This is assuming you are not counting the umpteen number of times he has shot himself or the administration in the foot. But really, I just want to know what kind of vodka it is. Because there are WAY different definitions of what constitutes top shelf. Also: Michelle Obama = Total lush? I see no reason why I should not believe that this is the case.

Actually, always a sign that your press isn't as free as it should be. I'm amazed that people in otherwise free countries can live without the 1st Amendment. As great an American contribution to history as the airplane, rock n roll, and the buffalo wing.

After Westboro Baptist announced it was going to Norway to protest funerals, I was sort of hoping to see the lack of a first amendment in action. Could have locked up Fred and his family for several years had they actually gone through w/it.

I'd personally like to see someone get carried away with their 2nd amendment rights on every member of the vile "church" known as Westboro Baptist.

Good to see the Vacationer in Chief suface and make known that he was cutting short his junket to the Vineyard. Equjaly nice to see that Michelle and the girls will again fly separately at our expense so as not to lose valuable vacation time. No matter how this hurricane pans out, you can count on Barry O and Michelle to soak the American taxpayer.

Unless this is a blatant lie from the MSM (which no doubt some believe):
The first family left their Martha’s Vineyard vacation home at 9:08 p.m., about 12 hours earlier than originally planned, arriving at the island airport about 9:20 p.m. They boarded Marine One for the short journey to Cape Cod, where they hopped on Air Force One for the journey south, according to pool reports.
To paraphrase Sen. Moynihan, everyone is entitled to their own opinions but they aren't entitled to their own facts.
And I work where everyone feels entitled to their own "facts" and you can see where it has gotten this region!

Well bully for them. They managed to al travel together for half of their taxpayer funded junket. I gues he really does want to connect with the America taxpayers. He truly is a man of the people and I stand corrected.

Not what I was alluding to. It was the fact that ALL the parties in the Middle East with respect to the peace process can have such disparate sets of "reality" and the fact that they often are willing to believe the worst about the other side, whether it is borne out by the facts or not. This is why I generally avoid posting here.

If you're not trying to connect the two?
