Hifi, I'm just kind of curious, since you often claim there's no substance to Obama's stance on issues, if you've actually been to Obama's website.

Sure, because attacking his opponent doesn't indicate support. Nice logic. Sorry, I was unaware that being completely and blindly in the tank for Obama was a prerequisite to casting my vote for him. Thanks for the heads-up -- you certainly won't see any more objective posts from me. McCain eats babies.

SF, yes I have. I'm not exactly sure where you get the idea that "there's no substance to Obama's ideas." I have said more than once, that on a personal level -- as well as my opinion of what's good in the long run for the Country -- my main objections to Obama's platform are his ideas for capital gains and estate taxes. In fairness, Obama has at least given lip service to relaxing his views for capital gains.
Upon more inspection however, his tax breaks for "small businesses" don't apply in the areas most important to me. Granted, what "I" would like and what "you" or anyone else would like are definitively different. But the underlying problem is the resistance to creating wealth. I find that to be a huge negative. We need to encourage the creation of wealth. Yet almost every plan that Obama promotes, has the opposite effect. That is where the fundamental problem stems from and until something changes, there is an irreconcilable difference.
Austin, still waiting for your support for why you support Obama. You gave plenty of reasoning for Kerry being a schmuck, but as of yet, all I have seen is that you think Obama has a better idea for the problems that matter to "you and me." As I said however, still waiting for exactly what those stellar ideas are.
