Or is it just UNLV students? I was coming back from the UNLV gym after my noon workout, and the plaza in front of the main classroom complex was filled with the most people that I had ever seen on campus. Several students tried to navigate the scene on skateboards, but one student took it to the extreme and tried to get through a tiny opening in the crowd and came crashing into me. Fortunately, I put my arms out and didn't get nailed too much. The kid sort of laughed, picked up his skateboard, and was off, nary a word of apology. Say it isn't so on campus at Georgetown.

I almost cried the day that I came within a few feet of hitting Dr. Porterfield's small daughter with a golf cart in Red Square. I guess that would have been much worse, but still...

I feel like an old man saying it but a lot of kids my age and younger have no damn respect. Damn punk kids.

Well I know that my friends and I tend to long-board through campus (the Hilltop has some epic long-boarding) but we usually don't ride through crowds, and if I did and ran over someone I would help them up and apologize.

I can't speak about campus, Nevada, but some intern tried to do that EXACT SAME thing to me this summer in NW DC. I saw him coming, dropped a shoulder, and told him to watch where the Edited he was going next time. Generally though, even time I'm on campus it seems like students there are still pretty courteous and whatnot. Not on Friday and Saturday night of course. Some things don't change
