I love that stock market threads are popping up. I can actually contribute more than hearsay and conjecture.
Anyhow, I loved this UAUA story. Let this be a lesson to everyone that you do your legwork and think critically, you can take advantage of market inefficiencies. A couple of months ago, Mark Cuban's sharesleuth.com website attacked a Beijing-based company called China Fire and Security. It dropped from $12 to $3 in a day. This is a well-run company with a significant market opportunity to install fire detection and sprinkler systems in Chinese industrial facilities (which you may not be shocked to know often have no fire safety equipment despite many, many open flames). Yeah, it's back at $12.
Stuff like this makes the market fun.

Wonder which hedge fund Cox is gonna find responsible for paying the web editor (or a hacker) to post that story (which seems apropos, coming from Florida) then short the stock all the way down before buying at a ridiculously low cost basis. Maybe the SEC can institute an anti-short rule for airlines and automakers. [/snark]
