I think Calhoun/UConn should have nothing to do with any Georgetown event--good cause or not. The man's battle with disease doesn't dismiss the type of person he is and the type of unethical behavior he endorses.
As for Georgetown--if they want to raise money for Cancer--they can honor III's wife and name the event after her-afterall Monica Thompson has had her own battle, overcame it, and did so with humility and lack of public attention that reflects the rest of world when fighting this awful disease.

We don't host them this year and as RDF pointed out the JTIII Foundation (whom we do work with) already is focused on cancer research and awareness. As glad as I am that someone beat cancer, let UConn and their students do their thing while we continue doing ours
