The ever-expanding list of Olympic events got me thinking. What would you do best at in the Olympics?
I'm curious how diverse the answers here will be. If you had to pick one activity to compete in against any random individual on the planet for your life, what would that activity be?
It might not be what you are actually "best" at, since others might be very good as well. In other words, if you are very good at archery, then your chances on average would probably be better against a random person competing in archery than in basketball, even if you are "better" at basketball, simply because more people play basketball.
So if you had to pick one activity to compete against someone in a match to the death, what would that activity be?
Another way of wording it would be what single activity are you in the highest percentile, when compared to every person on the planet?
P.S. Let me go ahead and save you all the effort: yes, I'm sure that many of you would think that I am rather elite at "being a jacka$$." Seriously though, I am curious what different answers we might see here.
Obviously there are limitless answers, but what is it?
basketball, baseball, darts, billiards, pool, running, swimming, golf, bowling, ping pong, chess, poker, typing, shooting, cooking, painting, sculpting, etc...

I knew I was in for a laugh of some sort when I saw you were the first person to respond.
All I knew for sure was that your answer wasn't going to be chess ... or any other contest involving strategy. You didn't disappoint.
On Edit: I do appreciate the Caddyshack reference though ... it's a blend of Kentucky Bluegrass and northern California Sensemilia (sp?) ....

Well, those are some innovative answers.
At the top of my list would be Jai-Alai. I think that I would have to be in the top 1%, simple because 99% of the world doesn't play it.
If I had to pick a second choice, it would probably be foos ball, but nothing could come close to jai-alai, because if you've never played it, it is unlike pretty much any other sport. Catching the ball is relatively straight forward, requiring the same hand-eye coordination that's necessary in many sports. But throwing the ball is so unlike throwing any other ball.

The two guys I am watching right now out my Gallery Place window would probably pick crack dealing. From what I can tell, business is good on 5th St. today.
For me personally, I'm gonna go ahead and say Snood, the free online video game.
