latimesblogs.latimes.com/allthingstrojan/2008/08/uscs-top-paid-e.htmlHas anybody seen anything similar to this for Georgetown? I was under the impression that private schools were never really forced to disclose coaches salary information, but apparently the LA times backed them out of USCs tax returns. Anybody feel like filing a FOIA request?

Georgetown, like anyone, has to disclose the Top 5 (?) in the next year's tax return, but it is only University compensation.
IIRC, Pops was the highest paid employee at the last one I saw -- and then a bioethics professor or two.

All non-profits, including private universities, have to file an I-990 indicating their highest paid employees. If you have an account at guidestar.org you can look up the most recent numbers for Gtown and/or any of its rivals.
IIRC, he-who-shall-not-be-named was also in the top 5 for Georgetown last year, wasn't he?

Any the government is attempting to mandate even further financial disclosures from profit and non-profit organizations.

Whatever Weis gets is too much. ND football is so terrible that people actually care about basketball.

With the size of his contract, Weiss will have plenty of time to fix it.

No argument with underpaid, though I can't believe the Walt Disney USC Trojans of Anaheim haven't rectified that situation. To pay Pete Carrol $4.4M is a slap in the face, or an itch in the crotch.
I've rarely seen a "top" anything list get something so right, but the overpaid list was like shooting fish in a barrel: Robinson, Weis, Fridge, Groh. I expect contract extensions and raises for each within a month.

Charlie Weiss has bonus compensation of Cornish Game hens. He receives 10 to celebrate each win and 20 to drown every loss.
