That display yesterday in Germany was sickening. A man with no record to speak of tries to act Presidential and it's lapped up by the sycophant media. He's a lock if he's running for President of Europe or Emperor of the Fourth Estate.

He's a lock if he's running for President of Europe or Emperor of the Fourth Estate. Anything specific to which you refer? And my gut reaction is: Regardless of what specifically you're offended by, it's not sickening. It's just politics. THIS is sickening: sports.espn.go.com/minorlbb/news/story?id=3504480

Thanks Tbird. That column says it all. Why did he take a plane? Were the angels who usually carry him given the day off? Why didn't he simply walk across the ocean?
The media's love affair with this fraud is vomitous.

Really, you're complaining about press fawning when your candidate is St. John Straight Talk Maverick McCain? Really?

That article was hilarious.
However, I think anytime someone give a speech in Berlin, it is an occasion to view the following:
(some f-words, but nothing too work-inappropriate)
I could have done without the "America's not perfect" lines on foreign soil -- not that America IS perfect, but I don't think Berlin is the place for that (got him some of his loudest applause though) -- but other than that, it was just another Obama speech for me. Fairly inspiring, not a whole lot of substance.
He should have made time to go see the soldiers in Germany though. Bad move, that.
I could go on and on about all of the things I disagreed that he said this week, but he had a good week.
Besides, TDK starts in 30 minutes. I'm off!

Damn! That would have been a good one. No, mine just is good old Eddie Izzard. Stupid movie theater changed the start time on me this morning!

Boz: YouTube is blocked here at work, but I'm hoping that link you posted was of The Hoff singing at the fall of the Berlin Wall in his electrified vinyl jacket?
