Alexander finished the season on a tear, scoring 32 points in a loss at Connecticut, 32 in a win over Pitt, 29 at St. John's, 22 over Providence in the Big East tourney, 34 in a win over the Huskies the next night in New York and then 22 a week later in an NCAA tournament second-round win over Duke. Hmmmm......something seems to be missing from this little recap. Alexander seems like a great kid, obviously is a great player, and I personally love anyone who rips the ACC a new one like he did (and like the conference deserved) after WVU beat Duke. So, I say in all honesty and sincerity, "Leave Joe. Just leave. Milwaukee is a great city. There is nothing left for you in Morgantown!"

Yeah, if you're Joe at this point, you definitely take the unbelievable hype that is surrounding your name at this point. There's just nothing that could even come close to matching it next year. Of course, if he enjoys college that much, then more power to him.

I think he is sniffing glue if he thinks the 'eers can win it all next year. They'll be pretty good, but they won't even be top 3 in the BE.
Like Jeff last year, he should take advantage of the fact that he is such a hot prospect right now.

they could have had glory time this past season if joe had decided to finish off that 3 point play late in regulation against xavier...instead a 80% ft shooter misses and their season ends
if he stays in college he is crazy...

I don't think its out of the question of WVU winning it all if Joe came back. Anyway better that the 'eers do it than the Huskies.
