Without giving any of that site's proprietary details, it appears that his plan is for him to do his post-graduate year and then come to Georgetown for a freshman year in 2009-1010. If you were a subscriber, you might see quotes from a close family member, and be encouraged by the focus on paying attention to academic strength, maturity and physical strength. I am being a little preachy here, but if true, it is refreshing to see a kid and a family not try to squeak through until a kid might be able to be drafted into the NBA.

The most important part of the article is, as usual, the first sentence:
Chris Braswell will enroll in Georgetown next summer, according to his mother Lesa and travel team coach/mentor Keith Stevens.
Next summer being the summer of 2009.

If anyone is feeling particularly generous this morning, I'd appreciate a PM.

Looks like Chris will be a beast when he gets here. If he continues to improve his game and his physical stength, then the question becomes how long will he stay here. Keep recruiting them '10s. That '09 season will be amazing.

Mom confirms two things:
1. He'll be at Hargrave next year. 2. He'll be at Georgetown in the summer of 2009.

Just to make sure, when they say "summer of 2009" that is not unusual, right? Like he (and the other recruits) would have enrolled in summer 2008 if he wasnt going to hargrave. Enrolling in the summer is what always happens?

Almost all of our freshmen are required to come to summer school.

Yes, players take summer classes while they're on campus, helping them with their academic load during the school year. At least, I believe so.

I think that's normal because I believe they take a 4 class load during the season, so summer school is required just to keep up.

I didn't mean for it to be abnormal in anyway. A lot of people do the same thing.
