Anyone else here Stewart refer to UMD as a safety school on tonight's Daily Show?

That's almost a compliment. I always thought it was a "oh--I-didn't-actually-get-into-any-other-schools-so-now-I-have-to-go-here school."

yeah i refused to actually apply to maryland undergrad. I never would've gone unless i didn't get in anywhere else, and I didn't want that to even be a chance.

My buddy nicknamed "Animal" went to two community colleges and Cal State Fullerton and it took him seven years to graduate. UMCP was probably a safety school for him, too.
