After consulting Roger Clemens for legal advice, Hernandez claims she thought the crowd of people was the parking bumper.

Score one for Lizzie Grubman. Didn't want to let this go without acknowledging that at least someone got the joke. Good one. Well done! ;D

Yankees fans are so classy! Right, this is what Yankee fans do. When I was a kid, my father would throw Thurman Munson jerseys on my brother and I, and we'd cruise the streets of New England running over any Red Sox fan we saw. We'd also run over anyone wearing a scally cap and adidas pants, just on principle.

No Yankees involved, the Red Sox do their own slapping last night.
Manny Ramirez and Carlos Zambrano: Separated at birth?

I'm still baffled at the stupidity of the MLB Draft "Show" ESPN2 had on yesterday. WTF was that? Bud Selig came out and was so giddy to be on television and announce picks--it was a 50 on scale of 1-10 on unintentional comedy. That guy really must be beaten beyond recognition--he's a total moron and this idea is the worst ever. How does this draft have any interest for television? There are 50 rounds, nobody has seen the majority of these guys play--and out of the major sport drafts--there are more busts in MLB draft--so you could get #1 pick and still strike out. Topping it off--Steve Phillips--who never gets enough grief for his Scott Kazmir for Victor Zambrano trade--but all the credit on Baseball Tonight. What a clown. Gammons was in his Donald Southerland glory, Karl Ravech and his Fake Hair were giddy, and Chris Singleton was there talking up guys they've never seen play. Keith Law was in his basement gaining self pleasure from god knows what? I watched one segment, laughed, and thought that is last time I watch that garbage-and I think more people attend the WNBA Draft then this mess. Truly a disgrace. I'd spice it up by having player's agents, their performance enhancement dealer, and Selig pose for pictures as the names come off, but that's just my sick mind. With the 56th Conditional Pick of 1st Round, the NY Yankees select Plea Z StickaNeedleinme from Balco University--in San Francsico, CA--the Red Sox are on the clock!--and yes Selig would say that after announcing the picks.

To be fair to Phillips, he'd already been fired when the Mets traded Kazmir. Jim Duqutte was the Mets' GM that pulled the trigger
