Please tell me that someone else saw the outrageous Abercrombie dudes standing behind Obama tonight while he spoke. That might have been the least subtle product placement I've seen, well...ever.

Here's the video: tinyurl.com/5e85rlBy the cell phone calls and text messaging that is going on (at least in the first few minutes, I didn't watch the whole thing) either they're just concerned about being on TV or they're calling to see if they got their product placement checks. I like how the one guy on the left is using his sign to try to cover up the fact that he's texting instead of listening. And how they all just kind of look up and cheer whenever everyone else starts cheering. ABERCROMBIE-GATE!!

Some of the comments below that blog post are absolutely hilarious. (and very politically incorrect, so I won't repeat them, but I recommend reading through them). I never noticed the Larry David guy.

Ah, Ann Althouse. With a stupid-to-evil ratio of 80/20, it's a shock she gets through most morning without being offended by minutiae. Oh, and yeah, A&F boys were weird. That's one crazy-ass advertising strategy.

I never noticed the Larry David guy. Larry David endorsed Obama and campaigns for him, so its no surprise that he was in the background of the Obama speech.
