tinyurl.com/2rc3jg"When asked who would win the title, Clinton said: 'My heart's with Georgetown, but my head tells me it's going to be Carolina or Memphis.'" Ah, well. At least his heart's in the right place...

I will certainly sleep better tonight knowing Bill Clinton picked us for the Final Four.

Why are we talking about a guy who openly rooted for Arkansas against his alma mater in the 1994 NCAA tournament? This is a board for Georgetown fans.

I'm surprised he wasn't more Machiavelian - kissing N. Carolina's a__ since they have 133 delegates at stake there

I almost posted this around noon today, but thought better of defiling this board. He might as well just root for North Carolina.

He also picks that [edited/unnecessary] wife of his for the White House. Now, now, Elvado. Just because your ex dumped you and traded up doesn't mean you have to call her out her name. I thought GU grads were more respectful. We talk about our Hoyas and their coach as being classy. We should reflect that, too, no?

Georgetown is also committed to truth and integrity: two qualities sorely lacking in WJC and HRC.

Georgetown is also committed to truth and integrity: two qualities sorely lacking in WJC and HRC. You're certainly entitled to your opinion. Even if that were true, though, two wrongs still don't make a right. Given your political orientation, I guess you can't help yourself. That's a sad commentary. I thank God JT III hasn't stooped to that level.

Since the announcement and this discussion of it are clearly political topics that have little if anything to do with basketball.... off to the B & G we go!

McCain has UNC, Kansas, Memphis...and...eep...UConn. Why so many people, including my father, picked UConn, I have NO idea.

Screw Bill Clinton! You being on our side did about as much good as you being on your wife's side. Go root for Arkansas, you huckleberry! You're bad luck. (and take your harpy with you).
