We've all got our favorite movies that are shot in Georgetown, and could probably come up with a good list of movies that otherwise mention Georgetown.
Along those same lines, I'm curious, what fiction books are either set at Georgetown or make frequent reference to the school? Obviously, the Blatty book that gave rise to the movie, The Exorcist, and I seem to recall some of the Patterson/Alex Cross stories make reference to Georgetown. Others?

Some of the other Murder in ____ books by Truman may also mention GU. I just haven't read any of them in over 15 years.

I seem to recall there was some book that has a Georgetown professor as a character and it describes Red Square, but I can't remember the name.

In John Grisham's The King Of Torts, the protagonist is a graduate of GU living in the Georgetown neighborhood. In addition to being a pretty poor read, the book contains quite a few factual inaccuracies about the University -- there are multiple references to the protagonist's old fraternity brothers at GU.

Tom Clancy's The Sum of All Fears mentions a GU prof.

In Dan Brown's Digital Fortress, the man the protagonist is in love with is a Linguistics prof at GU

In one of the Bourne books, (the fourth one, not sure if it was still Ludlum) Jason Bourne is on the Georgetown faculty.

that horrible brat pack flick St. Elmo's Fire is supposed to be about GU grads living in Georgetown. St. Elmo's is a bar that's supposed to be the Tombs.

I'm not being a wiseguy here, but is St. Elmo's a book too? I knew about the movie, but the focus of this thread was on G'town in fiction books.
