If any of the students on this board are interested in working for the EPA this summer, summer positions are listed at www.epa.gov/ohr/student/

Oh, please. We all know that the EPA is a myth. (My summer jobs as a student consisted primarily of painting dorms, moving furniture and logging in alumni donations, though, so if the EPA actually existed, that might be a better option).

Boz, you're probably not far wrong. My actual job is writing on the Hoyatalk board and my virtual job is as a research chemist with the mythical EPA. And I do virtual work using computational chemistry. We get our virtual funding from the virtual White House.

I would kill to work for a mythical organization. Does the EPA accept summer interns who are just out of school?* (*I am speaking in terms of geological time, of course, by which measure, the number of years that I have been out of school are so small and inconsequential that, effectively, they don't exist; ergo I'm still in school) In my "real" job I am mainly focused on finding the perfect quote from an animated program to go with whatever thread happens to be the topic of discussion. That and new finding ways to Edited off Bando and insult hifi. ;D When I'm not busy with those pursuits, I try to pay attention to the basketball team.

This would be funnier if it weren't so true sometimes.
