Seriously, when is this going to happen?
They've already turned fond memories of my childhood into craptastic feature films like Transformers, The Punisher, The Hulk, now they have the INCREDIBLE Hulk coming out (sure to ruin my man Ed Norton's career), a G.I. Joe movie starring the one-and-only Dennis Quaid... ugh. What, the guy from "Side Out" wasn't available?!? Is there some law out in L.A. that remakes of this ilk have to be completely unwatchable?
I feel bad for anyone with some talent trying to pitch an original script in Hollywood these days, only to have some dope of a producer tell you, "We're going to have to pass... we start production on the 'Go-Bots' project next month."

Did...did...did we just get a Peter Horton mention?
Yes, I'm pretty sure we did.
I don't know about "Baseball Cards: The Movie," Buff, but there are two movies you really have to see if you were into comics, baseball cards, collectibles, movies, being a geek, etc.
The first, of course, is "Free Enterprise," (which I hope you have not only seen, but have on laserdisc)
The second, somewhat less known, but still a very good movie is "Comic Book Villians." (Donal Logue & DJ Qualls go to war!)
For every crappy comic book adaptation, these two movies are very sincere in their celebration of geek culture. I recommend both highly.
(Then again, I also recommend "D.E.B.S.," so that's how much my opinion is worth -- Hey, I may not be gay, but I can appreciate a movie about lipstick lesbian schoolgirl crimefighters....and one of the top 10 -- make that top FIVE -- movie soundtracks of all time to boot!)
