Who knows, maybe we end up with Naji Hibbert, Leslie McDonald, Roscoe Smith or Tyler Thornton. Seems like everybody we recruit has the same last name as one of our former players. I don't think any of these guys are actual relatives with the possible exception of Leslie to Perry. While we're at it maybe we'll pick up Tristan Thompson.

No, I don't think so. You might be thinking of Devin Sweetnry, who was very briefly on the radar a few years ago, and was Mike's cousin.

Does anyone else find it bizarre that in two years we could have a Freeman, Braswell and Riley all playing at the same time? And a Thompson playing for a Thompson. ;D This would make listening to Rich call a game like an acid flashback. I already have nightmares about 6-man defenses and Ryan Humphrey going 4 overtimes without picking up a 5th foul, this would give me PTSD.

Isn't Chris related to Kevin? Nopers. I hope we find another Sabol, Hillier or Fleury, personally.

I have a vague recollection that there was a song done back in the early '60's by Walter Brennan (yes, Grandpa Amos/multi-time best supporting actor nominee himself) in which the title character of the song was named something Rivers. Some of you other geezers on the board, does this ring a bell? Ask and you shall receive. This kills. Turns out that Old Rivers was a farmer who owned a mule. I love the quavering in old Walter's voice at the end. Old McDonald? That would definitely interest my four year old.
