Living here in Alabama, I get to read the quotes of the chosen one quite often. I've noticed he has an almost Zook-like quality of saying a lot without saying anything. It's like he's 50 words short on that 500 word term paper at all times. Here are a couple of examples then some ad-libs...
In an interview with him once he got to Tuscaloosa on a question about Bear Bryant and Coaching in his footsteps...
"Well, Coach Bryant is certainly a Legend..........in terms of his accomplishments". Thanks for that clarification.
A question about the depth chart...."Well, we're trying to see where guys fit in". "Some guys may be switching positions to better fit their abilities, so you could see some guys moving from offense to defense, some from defense to offense, and some from one position to another". Thanks for that Coach.
Asking about John Parker Wilson...."Well, John Parker is a unique individual in that his name consists of two names....John, and Parker...most kids, and by kids I mean college students, students at a university, go by their first name whereas John Parker goes by his first name John and his middle name Parker.
On Greg Oden v. Kevin Durant....."Well, Oden is the taller of the two, in terms of height".
"in terms of height" I can certainly picture the Zooker making any of those comments.

Now, as an Auburn fan, there's little I like more than mocking the head honcho in Tuscavegas, but Saban strikes me as a very smart cat. He spouts nonsense like this in order to avoid having to reveal any real information, which only further whets the appetite of the faithful, builds his mystique, etc.
You have to have a real massive ego to handle the burden of being the top dog at the Capstone. Saban certainly fits the bill, maybe better than anyone else in college football. The fact that someone like Francione couldn't take the pressure shows you what kind of pressure cooker it is.

Russky, they do take their football seriously up there for sure. Who was it ... Bill Curry who got fired after going 10-1, but losing to Auburn?
In any case, I'm not sure if you are being serious or just throwing up a little smoke screen blowing smoke up Nick's A$$. Either way, I find comments like these rather humorous and tremendously "Zookesque."
