Don't know if anyone has posted this yet
Jon (DC): Think GTown has a chance to upset Syracuse Tuesday night?
Andy Glockner: I'll say no, but I wanted to take this opportunity to say I have been very wrong on the Hoyas this year so far. JTIII has done an incredible job there, bringing the same ability to win close games that he showed at Princeton. Kudos to him and his staff. I didn't think GTown would win 10 games all season.

Good find. At this point, I am just glad that we're getting that kind of press. So long as we take every game as it comes, we should continue to exceed expectations.

Last time I checked Syracuse did not have the loaded NBA-future lineup like the UConn team of last season. To say the Hoyas don't have a chance is absurd.

I see only two guys right now in their lineup who can play in the NBA, and McNamara is questionable in terms of his ability to be a consistent performer at the next level, although he could be a good role player. So, I agree MCI. However, I still think the proper answer to Jon's question would have been: "They have a chance like all Big East schools do in winning any particular game, but Syracuse is tough, so I see the upset potential as minimal."

That and Warrick is a classic tweener-he doesn't really fit into a position in the NBA-he kinda reminds me of Darius Miles-tall, loong, but not tall enough or wide enough to play the 4 and not quick/athletic enough to be a 3.

TBird, that's the exact reason why he's still at Cuse. He can't muscle anyone in the post and doesn't have the perimeter skills to play outside. He's be useful but not a star.
