I can see the next Bill Simmons article including some sort of rant about how they are 'tanking' to try to get into the Oden/Durant sweepstakes.

getting hurt at the end of the season is the worst...had arenas and butler been hurt early...they could have mad a serious run at oden/durant/whoever your heart desires
man those san antonio spurs really know how to plan their injuries

just a few, short months ago eddie jordan was coaching the all stars in vegas...that seems like years ago now

The East is a disaster. Wade still out for the Heat and unclear what he'll be able to do when he returns. Caron Butler and Hibatchi out for the Bullets.
Forget about tanking for the lottery, the Pistons, Heat, Bulls and Raptors should all be playing/tanking to secure the #3 seed in the East for the first-round match-up with the Wiz -- that's the easiest, guaranteed first-round playoff sweep in the history of the NBA.
