6:24 PM – Leave D.C. from Capitol Hill – a bit of traffic, but we are comforted by the knowledge of an impending cheesesteak.
8:08 PM – Unable to find sports radio between Bitmore and Philly, plug in the computer to the car radio, and listen to a couple nodak89 originals… “Roy, Roy, Roy, Roy…. 19-19-19-1984.” Not much else to say – we are singing out loud and loving every minute of it!
9:17 PM – Waiting to be seated at some quasi-wannabe euro sushiko at UPenn named Pod. Nothing like a little raw fish to get you ready for the cats.

12:05 AM – Sitting in NCCT’s sister’s room at Penn drinking a sixer of High Life. Pieces of the Tombs are coming back to me now…. But only pieces.
4:05 AM – Typing is difficult, but we must fight on. Bar hopped from Mar-bar to Smokes – ran into a fellow Hoya (C00)… “Oh, they are playing ‘Nova tomorrow – I didn’t even know.” Where’s the Heart of the Hoya?! At the bottom of a shot of SoCo and lime? We looked there and couldn’t find it. Goodnight.
11:24 AM – On Lancaster Ave. on the way to ‘Nova. Grabbed a couple breakfast sandwiches from Bui’s lunch truck. Listening to Nodak again!
12:30 PM – The car is cold. We are outside NCCT’s cousin’s house waiting for him to return from winter break with the entire family. NCCT’s cousin is a product of two Hoyas – one even a John Carroll Award Winner. His four accompanying brothers are all Hoya fans. The eldest boy is a Nova undergrad.
12:52 PM – The Nova cousin and his Georgetown family arrive on the scene. We unload his stuff from the car and depart for The Pavilion.
1:15 PM – Arrival in the parking lot. Destroya and NCCT realize that they are one of only a few Georgetown fans. Danger lurked at every corner.
1:30 PM - Meet up with a fellow Hoya fan outside of The Pavilion and headed into their on campus stadium. Naturally, we sit the only place we would feel comfortable. As we settle into the Villanova student section – we begin to get harassed. This lasted about 20 to 30 seconds. Nova fans prove to be weak and allow us to dominate their student section for the remainder of the first half.
2:50 PM – Half time of the game which included a ceremony honoring their 1985 basketball team. While tears developed in our eyes, we realized everything was ok. Not body on that team really amounted to anything and the best jersey they have retired at Villanova belongs to Kerry Kittles?!?. We both head to the food stand and get overpriced, cold Dominos pizza.
3:05 PM We return to the student section – Georgetown goes on a run and is down by 5.
4:00 PM DJ Owens receives Ashanti’s miracle pass, streaks the court and gets fouled by Curtis (yes, his name is CURTIS) Sumpter. We all know how the story goes. The clock read .1 seconds – DJ steps up – Georgetown victory. More NODAK listening continues.
4:30 PM Dinner followed by general Villanova debauching. Destroya and NCCT are civil until a few of those famed SOCO shots. After which we see which students actually made it out to the game. There were very few. And they were quiet.

9:00 AM – Philadelphia wakes up. Eagles game preparation ensues. Destroya and NCCT, due to the overall ridiculousness of the behavior viewed, head back down I-95, with Cheesesteaks in hand, victory on the mind, and Nodak upon the ears
