C&Ped this from another board (it's from the latest SI): Football (figures are in millions)
1) ND Rev=61.4, profit =43.5 2) TX rev=60.9, profit=42.5 3) OSU rev=60.8, profit= 28.5 4) UGA rev=58.7, profit= 44.1 5) Auburn rev= 51.6, profit= 31.5
Basketball 1) Louisville Rev=21.5, profit=14.9 2) UNC rev= 17.2 , profit= 12.5 3) Oklahoma St Rev= 16.9, profit=13.1 4) Arizona Rev=14.9, profit= 11.3 5) Syracuse Rev= 14.3, profit=7.5
There is a note under basketball that Louisville's BB program showed more profit than the football programs at Clemson, FSU, Nebraska and Louisville.

I doubt we make a "profit" on either, but these numbers are deceptive anyway. As I understand it, apparel sales do not register as sports revenue, but we know a high amount of our apparel sales are tied to basketball and not just the University in general.

The obvious is where is the National Champion on that list? The SEC pools all revenues like Bowl money and TV contracts of course. So seeing two SEC teams in the top five but not Florida is somewhat odd. Secondly, it looks like Ohio St. has a football "budget" of 32 million while Georgia's is roughly 14 1/2 million. That sure seems like a very large disparity. Even among SEC schools, if I am reading that right, Auburn's football budget was over 20 million, so roughly 50% higher than Georgia's.

Anyone know what Georgetown's figures are? ope.ed.gov/athletics/main.aspMen's basketball revenue is approx. $6M a year. Football brings in about $400K a year, women's basketball less than $35K. None of the other sports are cited as to revenue.
