Maryland has come a long, long way since November.
Victory over Duke looked very impressive...at Cameron and all that.
The hoops supremacy question in the DC Metropolis is still up for grabs...and Maryland is no weak sister.
Any thoughts?

Love to see a Duke loss, esp. at home! Players crying, students crying, Coach K crying, Dukie V crying and Gary W. not giving weak excuses if MD had lost... priceless!

Why is Duke ranked 14th?
Their winning streak wasn't more impressive than Maryland's.

Granted, I can't stand UMCP and Ol' Sweaty Bastard....but I have this feeling that the Twerps will win another couple of games between the regular season and ACC Tournament, start to actually believe they are the best team in the nation (ego equivalent of the Pitt chest-bumping incident) and flame out in the earlier rounds of the NCAA Tournament. The UMCP Twerps lack the discipline to remain humble and hardworking...

Always nice to see Duke lose on their home floor.
I really can't see Maryland going very far in the tourney but stranger things have happened. At least they will make the tourney. A few weeks ago they were in serious trouble.

I can see Maryland doing some things in the tourney... theyre versatile, inside and out, they always have the talent and they are playing like a team on a mission (Vazquez is really impressive).. Their inside depth could be an issue
they now have a better all around resume (record included) than Duke... I cannot wait to see what new ways the AP / Coaches will use to insert Duke above the Twerps in the coming polls

My friend jsut made this connection and i think it's dead on. Gary williams= moe the bartender from the simpsons the physical resemblence is uncanny. Go check it out. I'll wait...... Did you see. It's crazy.

Make no mistake. Maryland is playing quite well currently, and is a very dangerous team, especially in an open court, run-and-gun type of game. Remains to be seen how they will fare when someone slows tempo on them.
