I still hate Mr. Magoo...no matter what.
However, that was pretty funny and appropriate. I like it when a coach is willing to take on a subject like that.
Gottlieb is a true idiot and pretty much a joke.

the worst is trying to watch a game that Gottlieb is coloring. He just can't stop talking about who is in and who is out the ENTIRE game...even at weird points when exciting plays are happening. his head is going to explode.
i don't know if he's an idiot, but his schtick of hyperbolic absolute INS and OUTS was bound to catch up with him at some point.

It was the worst night of basketball to listen to last night. Dookie V kept screaming to pass the lob to Jo Kim Noah "I'm not A Guy, and wish I played for Gtown". I think he wanted to have his baby. It was almost worse than listening to him call a Dook game.
Then Gottlieb made me puke a little in my mouth last night when he was calling the Okie state KSU game last night. He kept talking about "back in the day", give it up chump. You were a subpar player at best, that is even a worse analyst.

Gottlieb has been rumored to share some similar recreational activities as former Nova player Gary McClain and I'll leave it at that. He got his job on ESPN by buddying up to former ESPN Radio personality Todd Wright and partying with him--he's even more of a butthead away from cameras from what I've heard and a true scumball--however that fits in with what ESPN has become for the most part.

An even better reason to like him is that he is a true gentleman, and one of the few opposing coaches in our league that treats people with respect. He has dignity, unlike J..............., R..........., J............, et al.

He was always a crafty, sneaky little guy. Hard to hit, but when you did manage to connect with a shot, it was almost always to the head. Come to think of it, Oddjob's height would put him in great credit card snatching position. Gottlieb IS Oddjob. |
