If it is on satellite, I am sure they would play it somewhere for a group of us.
Any ideas if it is? I know the people over at RFD (by MCI), and if they get it, they certainly would put the game on for us.
Thoughts?

I'm pretty sure its not on satellite-ESPN Full Court is the satellite package, and they aren't showing the game. Liked the attempt to put something together though

Just found this...
Headliner: Georgetown vs. Syracuse Date(s): Jan-18-2005 - Jan-20-2005 Time: 1/18 @ 7pm & 1/20 @ 7:30pm TW (Time Warner)cable channel: 3 Description: The Rivalry continues. The Orange take on the Hoyas.
Can Time Warner Cable channel 3 be picked up on some local satellite station?

Not watching this game is becoming just completely unacceptable to me.
I am able to see every damn game at MCI (lower level), and going 2 games without even being to watch it on the tube just...just...makes me twitch.

Me too-I haven't been able to see a game since the San Jose State game due to break and an unfortunate scheduling error (and now the crappy TV people)...I miss my Hoyas!

If we can get a Loyal Hoya who lives in the Time Warner Cable Channel 3 area, who is also tech savvy enough, they could funnel it through the net for us. Stream it for the masses.

OK guys... I am going to the game at the Dome, but I will setup the DVR to record it. I can make a few VHS copies for those that would like it...

RHMan... I'd appreciate it if you could make a copy for students. I'm sure we could all get together to watch it, so you wouldn't have to make multiple copies.

Those idiots at Time Warner? Haven't they heard, there isn't a rivalry! Syracuse's main rival now is SUNY Albany.

Will do Jersey and 2007... PM me sometime with an address to send the tape to.
I can't wait for this game... Haven't even been able to see GU on TV up here yet this season. But like many on this board, I am excited about the future. Man would it be great to punch the Orange in the mouth.... Here's to getting another W on Mr. Magoo's court!!!

Rhman --- That would be really cool.
Maybe we can get a place where we all can get together and have some beer and ball.
Tombs have a VCR hooked to there TV's? I can see if RFD does. Either way, it would be great to watch it...
Thanks Rhman

Simian, I know RFD is owned by folks who own Brickskeller. Is the beer selection as outstanding?! If so, it would be an awesome place to watch a game!! Lots of Belgian blonds (ales, of course!!)!!!

Wilson,
Yea, they really do have a great selection of brews. 350 in the cooler, 30-40 on tap, as well as always a few "special selections" that you cannot get anywhere else. Great T.V's, good food, etc.
If we were to get a good number of Hoyas to meet up, it might be possible to get some special prop. Maybe even the back bar room just for the Hoyas...
