I think the wrongful angst directed at Ray Reed stems from a message board favorite and former teammate of Ray's that was around his same size and that played the same position Ray did last year for the hoyas. I think some felt this person was a better basketball player than Ray, and he should still be on the team playing Ray's minutes. So whenever Ray is getting playing time, they feel this person should still be here, and thus they tend to lash out their fustrations by saying things about Ray Reed's play during the game. Contrary to these "erroneous notions", Ray Reed has improved this year. He is more under control, and is playing within the team concept. Remember last year, Ray was like a fish out of water. He went everywhere with the basketball. I think JTIII and his coaching staff have a lot to do with Ray's improvement. I think Ray will be a great contributor in the future for this team. yeah i can see reed getting more minutes next year...lets see reed hardly plays now and there is very little depth on this team...in the biggest win of the year so far reed saw about 10 actual seconds im sure reed will find minutes next year with a backcourt that will include cook, wallace, sapp, and thornton...reed and crawford will have a hard time getting on the court
