Good to have the board back again, so these results are late in coming. Apparently, the IC4A and ECAC meets were not a priority for the Hoyas as most of the team was down at the Georgia Tech meet (sort of a last chance for qualifying for the regionals). The Hoyas that did compete at the IC4A/ECAC meet are as follows:
5000m 7. Charlie Millioen 14:16.46 (his two points were the Hoyas only points of the meet - men and women - over the first two days) 10. Steve Meinelt 14:25.96
3000 SC 13. Chris Esselborn 9:06.83
1500m 21. Rasheed Thompson 3:53.16
LJ 21. Jesse Patterson 20'10"
4x800m 6. GU 7:31.99 qualified for the finals (I am not sure what team we ran, because most of the 800m guys were down in Atlanta).
PV 11. Leilani Grenne 11'7.75"

The Georgia Tech meet had some great results, especially for Tommy Manning and the women 800m runners.
The results"
1500m (women) 38. Sabine Knothe 4:45.74
400m (women) (places will be standings in their heat) 7. Kandance Ferguson 56.04 (winner of this heat was Julian Clay, whom I believe ran for GU under Julian Reynolds; her time was 51.45). 3. Ashley Hubbard 55.37 6. Nicole Torpey 57.14 1. Jayne Penn 57.53
400m (men) 3. Chris Bonner 47.90 (20th overall)
3000m SC 2. Brian Dalpiaz 9:12.05 8. Shane Young 9:27.38
800m (women) (placings are overall) 7. Maggie Infeld 2:07.86 8. Kelley Otstott 2:08.98 9. Meghan O'Neil 2:09.13 10. Nana Hanson-Hall 2:09.15
800m (men) (placings are overall) 1. Tommy Manning 1:49.14 (his winning time in the 2nd heat was faster than the first heat, which had some or this year's fastest 800m runners; also this was an open race, so out of college runners were here too). 35. Nat Glackin 1:53.18 55. Stanley Lagrenade 1:55.93 (I would think Nat and Stanley would be running faster at this time of the year; perhaps they are having injury problems).
1500m (men) 2. Tommy Manning 3:42.28 (equivalent to a sub-4 minute mile; therefore he and Chris Lukezic have accomplished this feat this year; this probably qualifies Tommy for the 800 and 1500 for the regionals like Chris). 20. Neil Grosscup 3:51.92

The Hoya coaches are probably targeting the regionals for some of the top runners. They will be held at Manhattan College in two weeks. I will have to find out who our qualifiers are. Most likely it will be the Chris Lukezic, Rod Koborsi, Tommy Manning, and maybe Chris Bonner. It was good to see Chris Bonner running again after missing the Big East meet.
On the women's side Maggie and the other 800m runners (see above) might have qualified for the regionals. Kandance Ferguson might be qualified.

So far the qualifiers for the NCAA regionals:
Women All four women in the 800m from the Georgia Tech meet: Maggie Infeld, Kelley Otstott, Meghan O'Neil, Nana Hanson-Hall; Maggie in the 1500m; Kandance Ferguson in the 400m; Ashley Mondie in the Triple Jump; and the 4x400m relay team. Addtionally, Nicole Lee has an automatic bye into the NCAA championship meet in the 10000m.
Men Chris Lukezic and Tommy Manning in both the 800 and 1500m (Tommy will probably chose one of these events to run at the regionals, but is not sure which one yet); Chris L. and Rod Koborsi in the 5000m; and Chris Esselborn in the 3000m SC. Additionally, Rod K., like Nicole, has an automatic bye in the NCAA national meet.
